Hello my friend, yes weird stuff does happen. If you want to try and make a case for supernatural or paranormal events be my guest. I do think other supernatural events happen outside of Christianity. I used to think weird stuff as a materialist too. For example, I used to think that immaterial unchanging necessary universal laws of logic came from random unguided chemical processes, that everything we experience came from nothing and that intelligence and conscious persons with intentions came from unconscious objects with no intentions. They're challenges we all have to face.

Regarding Prahlad the quality and stakes are simply not there. The quality of Jesus' miracle is inextricably tied to his divine self understanding (charged with blasphemy for claiming to be Son of Man Mark 14:60-64 when only God rides in the clouds and Son of Man has divine traits etc). If Prahlad is right or wrong what matters? I missed out on one goddess out of millions sustaining me from not eating when I had access to food and water?

I fear you are blurring the lines between deceiver and deceived. If one of Prahlad's followers previously did not believe him then after living with him was convinced that Prahlad did not eat or drink, reached our to Amba had their life supposedly changed themselves and then was prepared to get Roman nails through their feet and whips on their back for their belief, would you think they are making it all up on purpose or that they could only be either deceived or speaking the truth? It's a hypothetical and even if true there is far less at stake here but I would struggle in that instance to entertain the idea the martyr was intentionally deceiving. He could be deceived yes but that's another question.
